Exposed: Roger Ver’s Shocking Revelations on the Blocksize Wars

The Blocksize Wars is a must-read book that reads like a technothriller. And what’s most interesting about it, is that it’s all real.

And the stakes have never been higher, since bitcoin might be the technology that will change the world.

Roger Ver, prime advocate of the Bitcoin Cash hard fork, is back with a book, a tell-all about his side of the blocksize wars. He claims Bitcoin was taken over, and goes on to accuse prominent bitcoiners of so many nasty things.

There was a time when Roger Ver was called Bitcoin Jesus. Not kidding.

Then he went full Bitcoin Derangement Syndrome, tried to control bitcoin and change it.

Vlad Costea interviewed him, catching lots of flak from the bitcoin community. You can watch the interview here.

Frankly, I don’t know what to think. Obviously everyone has their own side of the story, and people do lie to fit their narrative.

Ironically enough, the big block version of events has a bigger book than the small block.

What I do know is that Bitcoin Cash is a zombie fork, it’s quite pointless to work on it, let alone invest in it. Protocols develop in layers, there’s no need to put all the data on the base layer.

That said, 9 years ago I myself couldn’t see how bitcoin could ever be used in real life, waiting 10-30 mins for a confirmation. So I can understand the initial argument, but it gets demolished by the appearance of the ingenious implementation of lightning.

What do you think? Read both accounts and make up your own mind, and let me know in the comments.
