Apparently, it is. Self-appointed Crypto Disrespecter Eugenio shared some lovely photos from his experience during a bitcoin vacation in Uvita, Dominical and Ojochal CostaRica.

I just had a 100% #Bitcoin vacation in Uvita, Dominical and Ojochal #CostaRica thanks to the work of @BitcoinJungleCR creating a circular economy and supporting many merchants and business. Zero fiat was used, no banks involved, no trusted third parties, just real hard money.

Had the chance to get pizza and gelato at Sibú Café and Restaurant. They were very happy accepting #Bitcoin

Next day after a wonderful breakfast at Uvita Bali Bosque Hotel (paid in Bitcoin) I went to town and stop a for grass fed T bone.

Later that day went for a swim on a nearby waterfall and then to grab a bite with with bitcoiner friends at Mosaic Wine Bar and Café, all of us paid in #Bitcoin

We also went to the Domincal Ecoferia Market and bought some hand crafted lotion, kombucha and goat cheese

Last but not least we had lunch at Café Mono Congo also in Dominical.

It was a short visit and this was just a sample of the place and all the things you can pay with #Bitcoin. In all of those places they had a smile on their faces every time I paid, while asking me “On chain or Lightning?”

Honestly Eugenio’s trip was really inspiring and I’d love to visit those exotic places myself someday. The fact that you can do the whole trip on bitcoin is mind-boggling, but we’ll see this happening more and more.
