The BIP-110 hard fork plan.
I let an AI read every message in the new strategy channel of the Bitcoin Knots Discord. Here is the short version.
What they are building:
- A proof-of-work hard fork, targeting September 1.
- Not a new client. A modification to Knots.
- Most likely forked from the BIP-110 chain.
- Adopting an altcoin’s mining algorithm so ASICs exist on day one. Luke’s words: "There are several scamcoins with ASICs. We can just cannibalize one."
Basically launching a new altcoin.
I won’t be fence sitting on this one. As of right now it looks like BCH and BSV.

They are about to fork Bitcoin into an altcoin and call it Bitcoin. You already know where this ends: another chain, another ticker, another community split that never heals.
The strategy is textbook: adopt a mining algorithm that already has ASICs on the market, so the fork has hashrate from day one. No bootstrap problem. No empty chain. Just instant "Bitcoin" with a different proof-of-work.
The playbook is BCH 2017 all over again. The playbook is BSV 2018 all over again. Same move, same talking points, same "we are the real Bitcoin" rhetoric.
