Saylor Sold ANOTHER 1,638 Bitcoin While You Were Still Reading About The First Dump — This Time To Pay Wall Street A Dividend

“Sell a kidney before you sell your Bitcoin.” That’s what Michael Saylor told YOU. Then he sold $216 million in a week. And now, while you’re still digesting that — he’s sold another 1,638 Bitcoin. Not to survive. Not to buy a dip. To pay a dividend to Wall Street.

The Receipts

Monday’s 8-K filing with the SEC is right there. Read it yourself. From July 27 through Sunday, Strategy sold 1,638 BTC at an average of $63,957 — $104.7 million total. This is his second-largest sale of the year, and it happened days after the $216 million dump you’re all still arguing about.

  • $52.4 million went straight to dividend payments on STRC — his preferred stock. Wall Street’s dividend check.
  • $52.3 million went to buy back STRC — the same preferred stock that’s trading 10.6% below its $100 par value.
  • Meanwhile he raised $290.6 million more by dumping MSTR shares on you. $250 million of it went into a dollar reserve that now stands at $4 billion.
  • And he still holds 842,138 BTC — at an aggregate cost of $63.5 billion — while telling everyone else that selling is a crime against humanity.

Let that sink in. The man who built a religion on “never sell” is now running a scheduled liquidation: sell Bitcoin every week, pay the preferred dividend, buy back the falling stock, extend the dollar runway. The only “runway” that matters to him now is the one measured in dollars, not sats.

Why This Is Your Problem

Here’s the part that should make you furious. Strategy’s dividend coverage collapsed from seven years to fourteen months. CryptoQuant’s CEO said it publicly in June: “They should pause Bitcoin purchases, rebuild cash reserves.” Instead of pausing, Saylor raised the dividend to 12% — and now he’s selling your future to fund it.

Every week the price dips, his dividend schedule still comes due. Every week, that means more Bitcoin hits the market from the guy who told you to sell a kidney before selling yours. He’s not the exit liquidity. You are.

And it’s not just Saylor. The same week, Trump Media — the “pro-Bitcoin president’s” own company — transferred another 2,628 BTC ($165 million) to Crypto.com. Total sales in seven months: 7,281 BTC worth ~$545 million, sold at an average of $74,855 — after buying at $118,522. The company that preached Bitcoin to America is dumping at a $43,000 loss per coin. DJT shares are down 25%.

Every corporate treasury is the same story: buy high on your FOMO, preach HODL to the plebs, sell when the dividend or the shareholder letter demands it. Satsuma is voting to dump all 668 of its BTC. Strategy is on a weekly drip. Trump Media is down to 4,261 BTC and shrinking. The “institutional HODLer” was never a philosophy. It was a marketing campaign with you as the target audience.

The Love Is Bitcoin Takeaway

This is why self-custody isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s the entire point. Saylor has a board, preferred shareholders, dividend obligations, and a stock price to defend. You have none of those. The only person who can sell your Bitcoin out from under you is you — and only if you’re dumb enough to leave it on a corporate balance sheet, a custodial exchange, or a wallet whose keys live with a company that answers to Wall Street first.

When you buy Bitcoin with real conviction, buy it from people who don’t need an exit: Bull Bitcoin. Use coupon code LOVEISBITCOIN.

The Question

So here’s the question: if “never sell” was the right advice for your stack, why is Saylor selling his every single week — to pay a dividend to the same Wall Street he told you to escape? Who’s the real mark here: the company selling at $63,957, or the pleb still diamond-handing for a CEO who already cashed out?
