Noderunners are the bitcoiners who run a node and help decentralize the network.
It’s very important to run your own node and to use it to verify your own bitcoins in your wallet, otherwise you’re trusting someone else, usually an exchange, to validate your coins for you.
Also, running a node makes you an active participant in the decisions that happen in the bitcoin network, what we call consensus. Like the taproot upgrade a few years ago.
