When and Where
BTC Prague 2026 takes place June 11–13, 2026 at the PVA EXPO Praha in Letňany, Prague.
PVA EXPO is Prague’s largest exhibition complex. It’s served by the C metro line (Letňany station), and the venue is a 3-minute walk from the platform. If you’re staying in central Prague, expect a 25-minute metro ride or a 30-minute car ride.
Getting to Prague
Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG) is the main international airport. Direct flights from most European capitals, plus connections from the US via Frankfurt, London, and Amsterdam hubs. The airport to PVA EXPO is a 35-minute drive or 45 minutes via bus and metro.
If you’re coming from Vienna, Berlin, or Munich — trains run frequently to Praha hlavní nádraží (main station).
Where to Stay
Hotels at every price point near the venue and in the city center:
- Near PVA EXPO (walking distance): Hotel Dvůr, Hotel Čertousy, Wellness Hotel Step — convenient but less nightlife.
- City center (Prague 1, 2, 3): More expensive but steps from Old Town, restaurants, and the afterparty scene.
- Mid-point (Prague 7, 8): Good balance of metro access and value — Holešovice and Karlín neighborhoods are popular with past attendees.
What to Bring
- Comfortable shoes — you will walk. The expo floor alone is massive.
- Layers — June averages 22°C (72°F) but can drop at night. Venue has AC.
- Power bank — your phone will not survive the full day of networking, payments, and photos.
- Your Lightning wallet loaded — many expo vendors accept Bitcoin over Lightning.
- Business cards or LNURL card — the hallway conversations are where the real magic happens.
The Weather
June is one of the best months to visit Prague. Expect long daylight (sunset around 9:15 PM), occasional afternoon showers, and temperatures between 15–25°C (59–77°F).
Security
